The E-learning is intended for anyone working in the Swiss financial sector or interested in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) such as mediation, particularly commercial mediation.

The aim of this E-learning course is to raise awareness of the development of ADR in the Swiss financial sector and the contribution of a specialised ADR scheme to adequate risk management at corporate and industry level, namely legal, compliance, reputation and regulatory risks. It also aims to support the integration of the Ombudsman Office (or “Mediation Body”) as defined in the Financial Services Act (FinSA) into a company’s complaints management, in addition to contributing to the successful development of ADR in Switzerland. 

The online course takes 45 minutes to complete and concludes with a final assessment to validate participants’ learning progress. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate. The course is available in four languages: English, German, French and Italian. It can also be used to fulfil part of the requirements under Articles 6 and 22 FinSA.
