FINSOM launches the E-learning “The FinSA Ombudsman Office and Risk Management”

In partnership with Indigita, FINSOM launches the online training course “The FinSA Ombudsman Office and Risk Management” to raise awareness of the development of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in the Swiss financial sector and the contribution of a specialised mediation body to risk management at a corporate and industry level. 

The training provides a deeper look at the Financial Services Act’s (FinSA) provisions on the ombudsman office. It contributes to compliance with the requirements of Articles 6 and 22 FinSA and to the integration of the ombudsman office into risk management.

The course is intended for anyone working in the Swiss financial sector or interested in commercial mediation. This includes professionals who supervise compliance with the obligation to affiliate to a FinSA Ombudsman Office (or “Mediation Body”) and the respective duties, providers of training and advice on FinSA requirements or risk management, Risk and Compliance functions, legal services, as well as persons interested in the mediator profession in commercial relations or the regulation of mediation.

The online course takes 45-60 minutes to complete and concludes with a final assessment to validate participants’ learning progress. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate. The course is available in four languages: English, German, French and Italian. It is free for FINSOM affiliated companies.
