We are delighted to announce that M. Alessandro Bizzozero, Founding Partner and Chairman of BRP Bizzozero & Partners SA, joined FINSOM’s General Assembly on 25 May 2022. Alessandro replaces M. Jean-Daniel Balet, Partner and Director of BCB Asset Management SA.

The General Assembly is FINSOM’s supreme and controlling body. It is composed of 5 to 7 members. Its main role is to guarantee the independence, impartiality and technical skills of the Director. It also acts as an Advisory Board. The members of the General Assembly may not exercise other functions or activities with FINSOM and must act in the public interest.

With Alessandro’s arrival, FINSOM gains valuable expertise in cross-border risk management and dispute resolution. Referring to its Activity Report 2021, FINSOM considers such technical skills essential to ensure the successful development of an effective and efficient mediation system in an international business environment.  

Jean-Daniel steps down but his confirmed technical skills in banking and wealth management remain at our disposal. FINSOM thanks Jean-Daniel for his commitment and important contributions to the creation of an independent and impartial mediation body specialised financial services under the Financial Services Act (FinSA) in effect since 1 January 2020.
